We hadn't been to Vinny's in a while. But, we're so happy we stopped in this weekend. The menu had been reworked since our last ... visit and it's great. My wife and I both tried a new seafood pasta that was out of this world. Shrimp, scallops and clams in awhite sauce with pasta topped with parmesan. Perfect! Every time we've tried this place, once dine in and a few times take out, it's overpriced and undelivered every time. Super ... greasy, lack luster food and I get it, don't expect much from a place like this in KG, but they could at least be honest withtheir wait times. For a SIMPLE pizza take out order, we arrived at the expected time AND WAITED another 40 minutes outside. Therestaurant was not overflowing with customers inside and obviously it seemed as if they forgot or lost our order and made itwhen we arrived. This exact scenario has happened TWICE. I always wanted to incorporate more Greek food into my “Dream” restaurant. I wanted people to enjoy some of the food that I was able to enjoy, whether it was on vacations to Greece, or in my Mother Afroditi’s (Freda’s) Kitchen.

Olde Brook Inn

Our daughter in law chose the Olde Brook Inn for the venue of her baby shower and we were delighted! During the planning process Linda Walsh, Event Coordinator, was so accommodating and helpful. Each time I contacted her the answer was always yes. We arrived... early to set up and Linda was right there with a smile and offers to help even after she and the staff had spent time setting up the tables and buffet food area as we had agreed on. When the Momma to be arrived, Linda introduced herself and let her know that she would take care of whatever the Momma needed (club soda with lime 😋). The food came out - roast beef, chicken marsala, garlic mashed potatoes, and carrots & green beans (so fresh!). All of the food was hot, delicious, flavorful and ready at the agreed upon time - compliments to the Chef! Lauren was at the bar and made great drinks all day long. When it was time to leave, again Linda offered to help us clean up even though she had other responsibilities. If you are looking for a venue for a birthday party, baby shower, retirement party or whatever else you want to celebrate...Olde Brook Inn is a great choice! More

First time to Olde Brook Inn and it was very good. We had a wide range of appetizers......Lamb chop, Beer Crab dip, and American Pie....all very good. Entrees were Scallop Risotto, Chicken and Shrimp Franchas, Ahi Tuna entree, and Seafood Fra Diavlo....again all very good.... Side Ceasar salad was great. Wish it was closer to where we live. We will be back. More

We brought friends and the service and food were top notch. We go there alot and never had a bad meal or experience. Tim and his staff are all wonderful and make you feel like family. Olde Brook Inn is our favorite place to go... in the region!! More

After hearing alot of good things as far as menu items go, I was thoroughly disappointed. All pasta was overcooked and the meatballs were oval hockey pucks. Seabass looked good but unfortunately overcooked again. For the amount of money we spent, we expected a higher... standard or quality if you will of food ordered. More

So disappointed tonight. We always loved this restaurant but tonight will be our last time. We had reservations for 7:00 and never got our table until after 7:30. Soup was good. But nothing else was good. Pizza was burnt that someone had. Another person had... two different drinks and both glasses still had lipstick on them and she wasn’t wearing any lipstick. The bread they served us was hard and dried out. Sorry. I don’t know what happened to this place!! More

Great tonight in all areas. Service was quick and staff worked together. Filet and Tuna entree’s phenomenal. Clams were some of the best in NE PA Only negative was muddy parking lot.

Poor management, waited 2 hours for food that came out wrong, the waitresses stand around with there cell phones off while working, no teamwork between staff.

We had friends from NJ over ad we took them here. Seatng was great, quiet and relaxing. HUGE portions with great selections. A bit pricey, but worth it as the food was phenomenal. I enjoy that the bar is separate from the dining area which... allows perfect atmosphere for actual dining experience. More

My husband and I went out with friends of ours to your restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Your decor is first of all beautiful. Only thing is the noise level is extremely high, it did take away from the overall experience. Coming from a... service industry myself, I was disappointed in the quality of service we received. No helpful suggestions were made. I like to help customers if I feel they are taking a while to order, suggestions of some favorites or popular items are 9 times out of 10 appreciated, after all they work there more than I dine there. A little suggestive selling is warranted in a restaurant such as this, bigger bills, more money in everyones pockets. However, after we decided what to order on our own, we chose the beer crab dip......very hot, not much crab however. You may want to dust your homemade chips with a garlic powder or maybe a parmesan cheese and also thicken it up just a little. It was tasty though. I had the OBI salad which I enjoyed as well. My husband ordered the seafood fra diablo which he said was good, although there were cherry peppers in it which when asked if he wanted them, he said no. I had the risotto which was creamy and tender, one thing that disappointed me was the shrimp. They were rubbery and hard to cut and hard to chew. We were approached by someone whom I assume was the manager while having our appetizers and salads. The rolls were phenomenal too!! Nice and hot! Once again coming from the service industry there were a few things that I feel need to be addressed, no trays? Why would you bring three out of four salads and have to run back for the fourth? Same with the dinners, we went with four people, is there a reason you can't bring all four dinners out on a large tray and serve the table together? Maybe these are my pet peeves or just your way of doing things but it isn't the right way....you should always serve a table together. And one last thing......table maintenance was horrific, salads shouldn't be brought out until appetizer plates are cleared, especially if you are sitting at a high top with not a lot of table space. DInners shouldn't be brought out until salad bowls are taken away, do you serve bread with salads? Do you water every table? In a higher priced setting I believe water is a nice touch, without having to ask for it. And lastly, I think, when we are sitting talking at the end of our meal, shouldn't all plates be cleared before we get our check? Although I wasn't satisfied with the service I still left a 20% gratuity, don't you think it would have been nice for the server to come back and thank us before leaving. Not a word and she was at the next table. Just a little food for thought. We may come back but hopefully next time we will get a better server with attention to detail that is customary in a higher scale restaurant. Thank you More

As you enter the bar is still on left, and dining room on right - that's about the only thing that's the same. The bar is very nicely done and very inviting and comfortable. Beer specials $2 - imported, I think I paid $5 for... Stella - a little 'New York-ish' but will definitely keep out the local riff raff. We were four adults and opted to stay inside on an early Sunday afternoon. Service was very good, at time too good! Almost felt like we were being hurried, but I don't think that's the case. They have a great outdoor patio and entertainment, very nicely done, and a huge parking lot (which can get dusty, don't leave windows or top down). I had linguine w clams - it needs to be zipped up a little more with garlic and parsley - just a little tuneup, but fairly priced and lots of clams. One other had the short ribs w mashed pots and beans - excellent - I tasted it! A chicken parm dinner was huge, enough for two and very good was the report. Lastly, the pizza - it was ok - but, for a brick or wood fired oven, I need crispy edges and bottom. Maybe we should have specified 'crispy' or 'crusty' - but, in that type oven we expected to see the charred corners and cheese bubbling. Needs some attention, but sauce and cheese was good and fairly priced. We will all be back and it deserves a chance for everyone to go and judge for themselves. Good luck to new owners! More

Really bad service, terrible drinks, horrible food. Wings were terrible, red sauce was terrible, pizza was ok-edible but nothing special, club sandwich was terrible (how can you mess that up?!). Shocked how much this place has declined. I can't imagine they will be in business... for much longer. More

In my first visit I had the Monday night special, half a rack of ribs and fries for 12.95 which resulted in tough, overcooked ribs disappointment and being hungry. The second visit I was in the mood for chicken wings, but the wings that were... served were the smallest I have ever seen, so it was hard to judge taste as there was very little meat. More

The restaurant is lovely to look at......too bad the food does not equal the ambience. The scottish bacon wrapped salmon was under cooked. Someone came out to say this was the normal way it was to to expected,(baloney) but they microwaved it anyway. YUCK! The... veal marsala was congealed in this very greasy gravy surrounded by a sloppy mix of vegetables and potatoes. Talk about a poor presentation . The waitresses were fine but they don't cook the food. They only have to serve it. I am a local and have lived here for 44 years, We go to a new restaurant every week and often drive 30 miles to get there. Old Brook Inn was a real disappointment and we will not be going back. Red Lobster website lists 87 locations 'temporarily closed' in 27 states: See full list

Red Lobster has abruptly closed dozens of restaurants across the country.

A look at the restaurant chain's website reveals 87 stores temporarily closed across 27 states, with some of them having their kitchen equipment up for auction on an online restaurant liquidator.

The liquidator, TAGeX Brands, announced Monday it is auctioning off equipment this week from 48 locations that have closed. The website says auctions are live and will end periodically on Thursday, and that each winner will receive the "entire contents of the Red Lobster location they bid on."

USA TODAY reached out to Red Lobster on Tuesday and did not get a response prior to publication.

Red Lobster considered filing for bankruptcy in April

The seafood chain considered filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month in an effort to restructure its debt,  according to Bloomberg .

The company had been getting advice from law firm King & Spalding as it looked to shed some long-term contracts and renegotiate leases, Bloomberg reported, noting that Red Lobster's cash flows had been weighed down by leases and labor costs, among other issues.

Red Lobster suffered big losses with 'Ultimate Endless Shrimp' promotion

In 2023, the seafood chain's " Ultimate Endless Shrimp " deal became more popular than expected, inadvertently becoming a key factor in a $11 million loss in the third quarter.

The limited-time promotional deal, in which guests picked two types of shrimp to enjoy nonstop for $20, landed a permanent spot on Red Lobster menus in June. Red Lobster's parent company, Thai Union Group, said in November 2023 that the chain was headed toward a $20 million loss for 2023. Now the endless shrimp deal costs $25.

Thai Union Group CFO Ludovic Regis Henri Garnier said in an earnings report call that the company was aware the initial price for the endless-shrimp deal was cheap. The offer was intended to draw customers into restaurants, but orders exceeded expectations, he said.

"We wanted to boost our traffic, and it didn't work," Garnier told investors in November 2023, according to  Restaurant Business Magazine . "We want to keep it on the menu. And of course we need to be much more careful regarding what are the entry points and what is the price point we are offering for this promotion."

funny how in wealthy towns, they are the ones who complain about price ITS LOBSTER YOU PHONY RICH PEOPLE. probably can barely afford the mortgage and the car payments. I'm sure basking ridge has its low grade dog food joints so that these PHONY WEALTHY PEOPLE CAN EAT

Ok- they clearly just opened. The food was OK. Nothing great . Presentation as you can see was average. We got the CT lobster roll and it was ok. Not great and not bad. For $20 the bar is high. The staff was adequate but not warm and inviting.. The place was too bright for nighttime and the paint was new and bright white so that and fluorescent lighting were ... very bright .. They do have some other items - tacos namely.

The most overpriced restaurant I've ever been to! Lobster rolls are $21.99 and up and they give you so little, you'll be left hungry. Ridiculous!

Just ordered a Connecticut roll, and was very underwhelmed. Pictures show large claw meat and nice buttered roll, but the actual order was very very very small, quarter inch claw meat, maybe 1oz of meat. I've been to New England numerous times and was very disappointed. Don't waste your money
